queensland New fishing buddie

Yesterday after I got back from Wivenhoe, my 4 year old girl asked me if I could take her fishing in Fred, which is the name she gave my tinnie (not superstitious), I was happy to. I didn't expect her to enjoy it so much. We went from West End ramp at 1pm and came back at 4.30 at which point she says can we do some more fishing:woohoo: so we fished of the bank at West End for another 1.5hrs we only got 1 Cattie and I dropped a 40ish flattie but Zara had fun feeding the Ducks and taking some photos and of course fishing.

Way to go mate! That would have been a great day for Zara and yourself. Good to see that she enjoyed her day fishing with dad, that would have made your day mate! She's not too bad with a camera either, much better than me!

I can't wait til my future fishing buddy is fat enough to fit a life jacket. She is a couple of kilos too lite at the moment. After refitting the tinny out it will be much better for taking the Mrs and bub out more often.

What an absolutely beautiful little girl and so talented she takes really top notch shots. You certainly have a winner there and I suspect in a short while she'll be another of the ladies out-fishing the lads.
