Arrived at water tower ramp at 9am to find 2 nongs parked in the turning area and another absolute richard cranium who had launched his boat from the concrete ramp and just left the car and trailer on the ramp. Really makes you wonder about the intelligence of some people.

Was also someone in a webster twinfisher blatting around with a 60hp yahama 2 stroke on it.Dont reckon it was dam workers as they had rods in the boat and I am fairly certain water board would not allow 2 strokes.

Went to the opposite bank and got one bass just under 40cm on shrimp and that was all. Fish were showing everywhere on the sounder but were not hungry.

We decided to troll our way down to teds waterfall and bonnors bay .

Couldnt go there as found sign saying no boating access due to blasting for new dam wall.

Saw a couple of other boats in the prohibited area but we gave it a miss.

Went over to the opposite bank and started fishing the points. I ended up with 3 more nice bass between 44 and 46cm and Graham got 2 around 40 and John specialised in underies with 4 under 20.

Nice relaxing day , glass out most of the day with about 5 knots in the afternoon and a few good fish.

Cheers

Ray

What's the odds that the fella with the petrol motor was also the one who launched and left the trailer on the ramp:angry:

Glad to see you got onto some good size models after all the little ones we saw recently.

Looking forward to some warmer water and a bit of lure action down there:woohoo:
