What is a durable cheap reel that you guys use for line of no more than 4 to 6 pound, my jarvis broke it has no drag function anymore and isnt worth getting fixed. I wanna arget your smaller fish but dont really care

Im not going sharking anytime in the near future

If you can make sense of this help is greatfully appreciated

Shimano r series, model 2000 cost $20.

Been using them for myself and kids for over 6 months on Bass, had no problems at all, kids have not managed to kill one yet.

no ball bearings, so nothing to rust. I team it with Kmart Diawa 6lb (0.20mm diameter)- $7 for 330 yards...

Get mine at the All Round Angler caboolture, but seen them plenty of places, just pay a little more, seen them up to $28

No Gerty - I didn't win it - but you'll see them advertised in Modern fishing and Fishing world Oct Nov and Dec issues I think.

well I got a jarvis walker rod 'estuary hunter or something pretty flexi about 7 foot long use both bait and lure and probly hunting things like bream carp tilapia or garfish whiting occasional flathead

probably an egg beater type reel budget $70 max only need a cheap reel
