Hey Wolf it was a 2 metre long home made 120lb thick wire plastic coated wire with a 9/0 long shank and a 7/0 big gun stinger on 6\" 80lb wire. All were double crimped.

I was using a Shamino Tekota (spelling) with 50lb mono.

Not as fancy as terry's but does the trick.

Ha compared to you Mack yeap I concede. Two reasons why I didn't want it in the boat

A. They bite deckies and I was thinking of Aaron’s safety.

B. This one tried to and nearly succeeded in biting the captain [img size=500]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/100_1031_AFO.jpg

I have heard they can bite from nervous response for a fair while after they are dead

Yep they do. When Mack_attack (brother) caught a 80cm Bullie from Oxely Ck a while back (03-04), After we had cut its head off to bleed it, I (stupidly:silly: ) put the tip of my finger in its mouth and it bit down. Luckly only one tooth went into my finger and nothing much happened.

I learnt two things that day:

1. Don't put any part of your body into a sharks mouth even if is dead

2. Sharks have very sharp teeth:S
