Went down to my favourite little spot at Tinny creek armed with some bread and garden worms to kill time before the footy started. Turned out to ba e pretty good little session caught the mixed bag available Tilapia, catfish, mullet (lost a couple of monster mullet to god they fight hard on light line) and a couple of little bream. Just getting some practice in for tommorow

they are some good sized tilapia! they are good eating (or so I've been told:P)

I've tried in the past to catch mullet on a hook and never been successful. I just net them these days

Ever got any natives like Bass in there?

Have caught a few bass, I think four in total, not alot because I have fished there hundreds of times, all caught by accident on worms, they were not very big all around the 25cm mark, I think they woiuld have been wild bass or maybe EP's cause I cant tell the difference. I think the old Tilapia have won the war by sheer weight of numbers.

Nice catch AGAIN, real mixed grill there. It it very tidal?

Brian it varies, I have also caught spangled perch and whiting in the same spot so it confuses me a bit. Every time I fish there I think the biggest fluctuation in water level would be a metre tops
