queensland wivenhoe camping and fishing

hey guys

mate and i are heading out wivenhoe tomorow arvo for a weekend of camping and fishing from our kayaks. Should be good, and hopefully catch our first wivenhoe bass!! :cheer:. will be sure to write up a report sometime sunday night.

I think the Bass electric comp is on there this weekend, hope it's not too crowded for you??

The Grand Electric is on at Wivenhoe sun 18th they moved that to Wivenhoe as Maroon had the Bass Electric or something like that.

Big W fishing well better numbers of bass nearer to Logans with the rise in water levels.

I fished wivenhoe the other day, was around at Hamon Cove. Lovely spot, no fish....

Avoided opening up wivenhoes first Donut King franchise with a little barred grunter of some description.... SO frustrating when there's so much fishy ground, dead trees half-submerged, etc along with surface boofs all around....and you get served a big Nada Enchillada......
