When i was a kid i remember practising my lure casting in my parent s backyard with a green crawdad lure when i saw a water dragon... i thought.. he wont attack it, so i cast it near him.. bugger me if he did lunge and strike, and unfortunatly got hooked... it was a mission to unhook him and i got a few scratches for my trouble.. I still have the lure, complete with the little tooth markjs that water dragons leave when they chomp something hard.. i wouldnt want one to get my finger!
