Hi,

Please find below some information on the Pine Rivers Park Tilapia Fishing Competition.

The comp is being run by 2 Bent Rods

and will be held on Sunday 8th July

7am - 2pm

Cost is $10 per person

or $25 per family

The day is aimed at the beginner and families.

There will be a few prizes and a lucky door prize.

There will also be a sausage sizzle and drinks available for purchase on the day.

I have all the permits from DPI & MBRC to run the comp.

Yes was a bit surprised when this was recieved Ray, water temps down to stasis already, had to use other methods to get some for education display last weekend.

I noticed a shop selling IQF Tilapia fillets the other day.

I wonder what name they are selling as in the fish and chippy shops.

No Michael Permit has strict provisions, only permitted Freshwater apparatus, had to resort to finding a warmish patch of water and get in with waders and scoop net, still bloody cold though.
