Heading up to the lake on ekka day just wanting to know best way to go off the bruce hwy to get to a ramp near the dam wall or there abouts never been there before:blink: so any help would be great.

mate take the cooroy exit, then turn right just past the golf course. continue straight around the left bend dont turn right and head towards tewantin, just keep going straight this will take you to the dam about 3-4kms down that road.

Thanks Lee,Is there a certain time your are allowed on the dam it will probably take me 2hrs to get there so trying to work out what time to leave maybe 4.30 for a 6.30 start

I'll be looking for the ramp next to the camp grounds, coz I want to sus them out for a possible overnighter in the September school holidays.

Which if my Beacon to Beacon is correct, is past the dam wall.

Dino said he uses the ramp off the Cooroy Noosa Rd, at the southern end of the dam because it is closer.

Feral I will use one of the ramps near the wall because read alot of bass have been schooling towards the wall and the botanical gardens.

mate try around the bublers too the hobie dealer said a heap have been around there. you cant mis the bubblers there straight out from the tower.

just loaded the boat on with stu rods packed just want to go to sleep now so i can be wakeing and heading off cait wait to get there as i have never been hope we can find some schools see you guys there oh are you heading up dino?

By the map I launch at the botanic gardens. Its ok as long as every body does not leave their cars right next to the ramp. Up the hill a bit is ok.
