queensland $5 Happiness

I would never of thought that a $5 lure would have given me that amount of happiness over the last few years. I dont get paid to sing the praises of the humble berkley flikashad but I would like a dollar for all the fish I have caught on them. As a matter of fact the whole berkley frenzy range are real fish catches. Some of the hooks and rings may not be up to par but who cares, throw it away when damaged and wack on a new one, after all you can use 4 or 5 of these before you get to the price of some other brands.

Anyway had a great morning yesterday on the lures once again. There was a lineup at the gate of weekend warriors so I didnt want to spoil there fun so decided to just use lures for a change. Well here is some of the results.

That silver bellied one with the limey yellow top is one of my favourite colours in them Dino, used to slay the bass on Baroon with that colour back in the days before SEQ water took it over.

Not that one but one like it, thats a new colour.

No idea what the "fancy name" is for mine, packing i slong gone. But mine are the berkley popper with very similar colours, had one for years, good workhorse, then I bought half a dozen of them when I found then on ebay a couple of years ago.

I have plenty of the chart and white colour you are talking about, they are great also. Up to about a year ago there was 32 colours in the flikashads and now there is 9 new colours. We see about 10 of them here in aus.
