Hi

I have a question regarding tilapia is there any spots on the northside of brisbane that is loaded with them? I know i can get them in the kedron brook but there is very low numbers (which is great) so it is difficult to catch some. So could you please give me an idea for a brief area to target them, i am not looking for secret spots just somewhere to start looking.

Thanks

Also the pond near the ampitheatre in the Pine Rivers park, just near where you have recently been fishing the South Pine river.

As Dino said, definitely need warm weather for them. Caboolture weir is also full of them, but in the cold weather last month had quite a good kill off, so might be a bit thin for a while.

North pine dam.. Find a shallow Creek inlet.. Berley with bread crumbs and corn on a hot afternoon.

Best way to find where Tilapia are congregating is when water levels drop you can actually see where the Tilapia have been mass feeding in schools.. The shallow bank will look grazed..

Good luck..
