What's worse - Bad weather or bad forecasts ?

I find it more annoying when the weather is way better than the forecast. Frustrating.

bad forecast for sure. The amount of times ive cancelled for the weather to turn good. As well as going fishing on a good forecast for it to be blowing it ass off and making kayaking impossible

Yeah bad forecast is props more annoying but both are a pain

I bet all weather station's are paid to keep weather looking like bosses weather...

There was a time a way back when the BOM got it wrong and there was a big storm with a lot of damage.  Since then, they 'err', or their software has been reprogrammed to err on the cautious side.  I live in Toowoomba and I now know to only consider it a possibility of significant rain when the BOM site predicts a 90% chance of rain.  I can be pretty sure there will be no rain at 70% and only a shower at 80%.

It is also heavily influenced by legal people.  They ruin everything.  A more disastrous forecast than it turns out to be means no possibility of any legal implications.

Yep, all that makes sense. I accept it is only a forecast and I'm in no way meaning to bag the forecasters. It's just frustrating when it occurs and I think "Dammit I could have been fishing yesterday/this morning".
