Check Your Throttle Body for WOT

Hi All,

noticed yesterday my 2019 Merc 25HP 4S EFI was not getting full throttle, has only 20 hrs on it so I doubt it was a cable stretch issue - more like not done properly from the factory and obviously not checked during the delivery or first service.

Anyway, I adjusted the throttle cables and now WOT has gone from about 80% to 100%... It made nearly 200 RPM difference at WOT which would equate to a HP gain as well, it improved the holeshot, noticably!

Is the outboard hooked up to a tachometer? What was the final rpm overall? Are u redlining at the factory recommended wot rpm?
