Ahh, Riddles. 

I like riddles. 

 

My tip is to at least get a line in the water.

Above? are tricky to catch, however if you don't have a line in the water.... You don't have a chance. 

Watch em though, they go hard. 

It's like lotto, you gotta be in it to win it. 

Good luck, and try to stay inside the handrails at all times.

The above, Tailor, mostly, I’m told they put up a great fight. What’s the best bait for them? Thanks. Trawling or lures, what colour? As I noticed some posts on this site recommend pacific coloured lures for specific fish? Thanks.

Pilchards are great bait for tailor. 

Set of 4/O gang hooks. 

 

As for lures, they love the smaller halco twisty type metal slugs. 20g, 30g, and 40g. 

Cast a retrieve.

Pilchards are the best bait for them.

Silver or gold lures if you are casting/spinning for them.

If you have a whole Pilchard out with trebles you are a good chance for a Tailor or Flathead. 

Chop the Pilchard into chunks and a small hook and you should get some bream.
