’fwesh-fwied, fwesh-fwozen wabbit... hunting tips by yours twuwy, Ewmer Fudd!

Friday, August 19

Cowboys 48  vs. 4 Warriors
one sided shoot out….

Broncos 12  vs. 60 Storm
the positive for the Broncos was the siren at 80 minutes…. it was starting to get ugly

Saturday, August 20

Eels 42  vs. 6 Bulldogs
Eels move to 5th on the ladder

Sea Eagles 6  vs. 40 Sharks
not much pride on show in the rainbow-less, Manly jersey… are their minds on dress designs for their Mad Monday….

Roosters 72  vs. 6 Tigers
what does 2023 hold for the Tigers?

Sunday, August 21

Dragons 46  vs 26 Titans
with both teams having a 10 - 11 error rate and 52 missed tackles each, they were both lucky to stay in the match.
At 30 – 26 the Dragons were reduced to 12 players for the final 20 minutes, via a send off. They then put on 16 points to extinguish any hope a Titan’s fan had….

Knights 22  vs. 28 Raiders
turned into a good game, for viewers. Raiders’ fans dream, of a top 8 spot, are still alive with lots of hope and a lot more prayers….

As a fellow pink amoeba I have to agree with you KM. They may even win all three!

Hi @kmcrosby78. I just thought it best to inform you that I have now moved on from a lowly pink amoeba to the much more esteemed purple amoeba. This is undoubtedly a major evolutionary leap, and I can therefore no longer associate myself with anyone of your low standing. Please don’t take it personally.
cheers

Take it personally …. of course not ….. Although I should point out that my last post was rated a ‘Popular Post’ so dismiss my importance at your peril … 🤔🙄🤪

Oh dear. Those ratings are just given to satisfy the embryonic minds of the lesser amoebas. It keeps them happy while we highly evolved amoebas can get on with working out how to become multi-celled.

When I log in Round 23 results are still showing, and searching around there seems to be no way for me to get onto this weeks tipping.... time is running out.

Tipping Page. Top Right hand side. Drop down menu where you can select which round.

No dramas here.

Did anyone not have the NRLW games come up to tip on last week ?

The total transformation of the Sea Eagles into chip scavenging sea gulls…

Sharks 16  vs 0 Bulldogs

Even though it was not a feeding frenzy, the Sharks dined on the Dogs

Well, that's the regular fixtures season for 2022 done and dusted... just like teams 9 - 16, on the ladder.

Round Twenty-Five results

Thursday, September 1

Eels 22  vs. 14 Storm

Well, the Storm ain’t storming….

Friday, September 2

Bulldogs 21 vs. 20 Sea Eagles
good to see Manly finish off the season on such a note…

Roosters 26  vs. 16 Rabbitohs
with both teams picking up injuries out of this game, next week’s Week 1 Finals re-match may be a more entertaining match…

Saturday, September 3

Warriors 26  vs. 27 Titans
fancy that…

Dragons 22  vs. 12 Broncos

for season 2023, apart from needing a real full back, dummy half, and a fitting  halves partner for Reynolds, the Broncos may need to look at their Mares and Fillies side to add some muscle and footy nous to the team… just saying

Cowboys 38  vs. 8 Panthers
with the Panthers resting 12 players, this game was slated to be a pre-finals, training run for the Cowboys.

Sunday, September 4

Knights 16  vs. 38 Sharks
I guess the only surprise here was the Knight’s 16….

Tigers 10  v  56 Raiders
Well, I guess the positive for the Tigers will be pre-season 2023, with the reforming the 2005 trio band of Sheen’s, Marshall, and Farar…. and after that, we wait to see

NRL finals series 2022
Under the current finals system, the team that has finished in first has only won the premiership three times, the Sydney Roosters in 2013 and 2018, and the Melbourne Storm in 2017.

The current system sees the first week have top four sides face each other, and the second four (bottom half of the top eight) play each other. The winners in the top four clashes go straight to the third week of the finals, while the losers face the winner of the second four.

The losers in the matches between the second four sides are eliminated, while the winners face the losers from the top four.

Last year’s minor premiers were Penrith Panthers, who defeated South Sydney in the decider.

Finals Week 1

Friday September 9 - Sunday September 11

Finals Week 2

Friday September 16 - Saturday September 17

Finals Week 3

Friday September 23 - Saturday September 24

2022 NRL Grand Final

Sunday October 4th - Stadium Australia, Sydney.
