What rod should i get for tailor

i bought a 22 AIRD SW SURF (10000), i was wondering what rod i should pair with it, i want a beach fishing rod that could catch tailor, whiting and bream but it can also cast far.

A rod in that 8-10ft range, with a 6-10kg line rating would work well.

That's a large reel for whiting and bream. For Tailor maybe ok but even then the weight at 600g would get tiring very quickly.

I'm guessing if it is for Tailor in the surf 10ft+ rod or longer to help balance out the reel weight.

I agree. I use a 4000 in the surf for those lighter applications.

I do a lot of beach fishing. I use a Penn Prevail 2 10ft rod & a Dawia over there rod 11ft.

Reels Penn Slammer 4500hs & Penn Clash 5000.
