OK hand out your secrets please, what are the best lures to use in Wivenhoe Dam this time of year? (Photos if you have please) I can't Karma you but I could dedicate a fish to you.

If you are working the schools in the open or trolling the river channel, the B65UD and B65D Boomerangs.

Thanks Neil, the 59.9cm bass will be renamed Sir Schultzy and let go to grow the little extra bit.

I have the DP in the ultra deep and the spins in the darker heads with the purple but I will need to get my qantas lures out from under the bench.

i have been getting them up there on jackalls and spinnerbaits in natural colours casting to the grassy banks

The deep purple and black beetle B65D Boomerangs have been working very well for us. Just back from a quick pedal around in the Hobie Outfitter this morning.

Yeap that lure works for me :blush:

Matching the rod reel and bikini with the lure must be what I am doing worng. Attention to detail makes a better fisher person.

also the rainbowfish colour works well, last trip to the upper brissy river a couple of months ago I got a 53cm bass(51.5cmFL)
