pine river, lawnton??

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has fished the pine up at lawnton and if so how is it? I was up there today for work and it looks very fishable. Never been that far up the river but looks like it has potential.

Good spot for jacks in the summer, a few small bream in the winter

personally i really wouldnt bother unless you are after really small whiting and bream.

it is really shallow unless you know the few deep spots which are extremely hard to find, especially land based

Its all in the technique and timing. In my opinion its a better sunset night time spot especially this time of the year. Target bream on bait near the bridge live if possible. Seen small jew, trevors, flatties and bream out of there.

Just keep an eye out for the over friendly gentlemen carpark attendants at night time!!!:ohmy:

Keep the fishing rod on display and try not to lounge around the toilet area and should be ok. lol
