Freshwater mullet?

hi, changed plans for tomorrow, my mate wants to go fishing lol. He wants to head down to a secret spot near us that produces some big mullet, but we arent quite too sure how to fish for them. By the way i am not netting them, we are trying to get them ona line. all help is appreciated. thanks, nic

I was talking to some guy a few weeks ago at my Local Creek, and he catches them on A tiny bit of bread about 30cm away from the float. Ive never tryed, but ive seen him catch a few
