queensland First Session For 2010 :)

Well my first session of 2010 was fantastic.

Henry offered me a spot on his boat with his brother Danny as well.

P.S. Henry Shaved his head!!!! Oh my god no more Street Fighter jokes. Shame.

Anyway the plan was to fish around the Jacobs Well canals and the pin which we both successfully completed.

It was a perfect morning with glassed out conditions and some good fishing.

Anyway ill let the pictures tell the story.

First fish of the day. A little (approx 30cm) GT on an SX60.

It was a little guy, but Jack on a PX45! Come on still awesome!

Smacked the sx60 while a snag was being dealt with.

These little guys will hit a 2inch shrimp or an SX60 with no hesitation!

Yeah your right Tomca. GOod memory on time frames! Fishing trips seem to blur with me due to their number

Yeah... just needed a haircut. Thankfully the fishing session gave my noggin a bit of a tan... it was white as a ghost on Sat arvo when I got it cut. Don't fret though Feral.. .give my 4 weeks and it'll be back

I probably should have replaced the trebles on my px-45... had the middle trebles broken off after a couple of big hits from big fish.

and it was fantastic weather... although the mozzies were out in force.

are SX60's sinking/floating/suspending ? and what retrieve were you using ?

my old man and i consider jacobs well one of our favourite camping/launching areas, but the lack of fish by conventional means is pretty poor.
