queensland coomera pb jew

[mick fillet]

hit the coomera up last night.

started out a bit slow with the catties moving in just about demolishing all of the live bait.

got a few bream on silver biddys.

I pulled the pick and went for a scout down the river. I fished a spot i never fished before.

I tossed out the last silver biddy on one rod and a good sized mullet on the other rod. didnt take long for the silver biddy to get smashed and i boated a nice bream. just as i boated the bream the mullet got wacked big time and it was on:woohoo:

i boated a jew that went 81cm,a PB coomera jew that absoloutly smashes my previous coomera PB jew 40cm from about 4yrs ago,so iam really stoked that i went scouting for a new location and it paid off

hey guys great jew can you give me a bit of a guide as to where you get them from in the Coomera. Was looking to hit up that system soon and would love a rough guide as to where to look. Are you down i the mouth area, up near the ship yards or further up near the M1????

Awesome fish there, good to see they're still around. We fished the coomera from 4pm to 4am saturday night got a 40ish jew and a 45 cm morwong but I have to say it was a very quiet night.
