Do prawns get bigger than this in the Brissie?

Hi guys, found a nice honey hole for big(i think) prawns recently, and i think these prawns here are decent sized - 15cm++. do they get bigger than this? are they seasonal or are they in the river all the time? fresh seafood? haha, heaps in the brissie man. dropped a estimated 2kg salmon out of the castnet just now

show ya doesnt it, you wont go hungry if you're a fisherman . prawns, crabs, salmon, cod etc. heaps in the river!

Not a bad size, a little bit bigger and they might rate as \"King Prawns\"!

The biggest prawns I have heard come out of the River (photo's from many many years ago)went 3 prawns to a pound, nearly as thick as your wrist, looked like small lobsters. Was an old newspaper article I came across while doing some research.

0oo. nice prawn there brian . i've been hoping for a much larger one ;P. had a session with do$tylz and his bro earlier this evening, picked up a good kilo's worth as well ;P, some just as big, but no luck with bigger ones yet. lets hope they show up soon .

I am led to believe the prawning season is just about over. (You still get prawns year round, but they only school up for a few weeks at one time of the year)
