We all caught rat squire and other stuff. I also got some small bream, a legal tuskie at 31cm and a relatively decent snap at 62cm, I tried the whole stretching thing and got it to 65cm.

It was a fantastic day out on the glassed out bay with good company, we even had a few of the yuppies slow down as they went past us which never usually happens.

Kreel will fill in the gaps and add some more photos

Yeah it was a good day out and that was a good Snap and i've got that spot in the memory bank for next time. I managed plenty of fish but all undersize except for one Squire and a reasonable Flattie. Highlight for me was a solid hook up only 50m from where we launched resulting in a severly staightned hook. We covered just on 13km today and the weather was great but at one stage you needed traffic lights to cross over to Peel. I've got Wednesday as an rdo so if the weather's good i'll be out there again.

Cheers

Mark

As you can see the operation was a success with Denn taking one of the enemy for interrogation.

He showed all the tell-tale signs of an enemy collaborator

The rest of us were plagued by much the same but of a less impressive dimension. I know Mark was catching fish all day but couldn't land the big ones, my catch was a real mixed bag with a couple of flounder, rat snapper, grub fish and flatties and tBox produced much the same results.

The worse part of the day was the fact that I couldn't take a single nice shot.

Here you see Tacklebox and PlasticF and it would have been nice except for tBox's blazing light at the back of her yak.

pFantastico ruined this shot of water stumbling into view at the last minute.

I was after a shot that depicts man's (woman's) struggle with nature, which is obviously a serious topic and I couldn't get tBox to stop smiling! That bloody light again!

Just when I get a nice photo composed wwith tBox and her yak "Jinx" a bloody speed boat races into frame from the right

...and then it was obviously the weather's turn to ruin things by kicking up the rough conditions.

I give up!
