Touch Footy State Championships

I'd like to thank those from AFO who supported my son Brock with the raffle in getting up to Townsvile on the weekend for the Touch Footy State Championships. For those interested he represented South East Qld Sharks sqaud in the under 12's boys which ended up making the final after playing all the other regions in the state. They were 3 all with 2 minutes left when a try was scored against them leaving them runners up.

At the presentation we got a surprise when he was selected for the under 12 boys Queensland Merit side, it doesn't tour but the boys will be cloesly followed as under 14's and up represent in the national competion.

It was 7 games counting the final for the weekend plus training so we were stuffed in the end but we are going north this month for the school holidays and will get in plenty of fishing in bowen
