Hey i found out what the story behind this is but i just kept forgetting to post it.

Apparently it was in for its service and they were screwing around with the computers on the thing. When they took it out for the test run, the onboard computer froze, and this computer controlled stearing, throttle, etc, and thats why they hit so hard in broad daylight.

Not a good time for it to stall itself!! And it would be even worse I rekon, between the time the computer blew up and when they hit! \"Oh sh*t!, Oh sh*t!, Oh sh*t!\"

with a hole that big in the hull why the hell would you try to float it with out floatation devices to ensure it stays above water :pinch:

they would of been better off asking AFO members to strip it of all the bits we want before sinking them
