queensland NP Today

Went out for a few hours today.

Have become a bit tired of fishing the same spots around Mcgavin view lately, so I instead walked around the lake from the Bullocky rest area. Didn't get anything there, but saw at least 3 dead bass well over 50cm.

Then I did the long trek from Forgan Cove to the left, then around the lake. A bit quiet there too, but I did get onto a decent yellowelly which had me under a snag for about 20 minutes before finally breaking free of it.

Tried a couple of slugs in that area, but it was a bit snaggy and too shallow, and I lost one as well as another G-Vibe.

Two fish for the day, 1 yellowbelly 1 bass.

Angus, it's the second biggest for me. I reckon there is a heap of bigger ones in the photos section...
