In Loving Memory, Bondara

:(

Well, its true, Bondara, or \"riverrat\" is dead. Due to some prop problems, and high winds and chomp that wouldnt allow me to fix the prop issue, she is gone. I went and picked her up today, it wasnt pretty.

So in her honour, travel with me now through fond memories.

Floor space seems to be ok. At that size there wont be massive floor space around the console, but the front casting platform, and small back one should do. the one im looking at has a 30hp, with optional upgrade to 40.

Just looking krisso, but very seriously looking if you know what i mean. ;)

Just waiting for the insurance vultures to come back with info as to whether they are going to fix her, or just cash me up! either way, im getting a new boat! and hopefully the above poly!

No secret ocean donkey, read the first post, its as simple as that. Thats all it takes to get into trouble on the water.

The wind came up from basically nothing to 25 to 30 knots within minutes, chop came up as quick. I was using my electric on 3 just to keep the head into the wind without drifting while I started my motor.

Mate I'll back the poly 100%, I love mine. I have had my 4.55 for about a year now and the fact you can hit them with a sledge hammer shows how tuff they are.

They are heavy little beasts so I would recommend going for max Hp which for the 4.1 is 50hp. Check out

http://www.polyboatowners.com/forum/

This site is a forum for owners of poly boats and there is heaps of info.

All so you can check out

http://www.boattest.com.au/

which has actual video of these boats in action.

I will have my 4.55 at the flathead hunt if people want to check it out.

GO THE POLY

p.s. I do not work for Polycraft I am just one happy customer.

Seems a littel quick Ash to have another one lined up... Are you sure there was not a little bit of 'overlap' between the old and the new?

Pollies Poly looks the goods, seriously it does. Would like to have a closer look at the Flatty Hunt. But I too could hit my boat with a sledge hammer, its so tough!

Probably go straight through the 2mm sides, but it will still look tough!

Ha! no mate nothing like that! i had been looking for a while to upgrade. But honestly, i didnt plan on takeing a swim in 9 degree water!!!!

If i was doing a dodgy, i would have just burnt her! Less effort and alot warmer:woohoo: !
