Starting to prepare.

Have a small bucket of redclaw tails in the freezer and just smoked some honeyed and brined chook breasts.

Not bringing them all as they are also for my sangas when fishing.

They are also good thinly sliced with a cold beer.

How bad do I feel. I had it in my mind that Winter camp was next weekend only to find out I have 2 weeks to wait!

so looking forward to this, looks like i wont have my new boat ready , but i am not too fussed, its the best event of the year.

if you are still undecided, do yourself a big favour and sign up. its a great way to meet AFO's and socialise and maybe catch a fish or two

I know I want to!! I can get Dad's ute so that's not a problem it's just that we've got a heap of bills atm and are saving for our holiday that is quickly approaching as well. Also it's our anniversary on the Sunday so I need to be home early then, the planets are just not aligning atm.

Ant you don't want to head out on a holiday without a practice holiday under your belt. Better to come to WInter Camp and work out the wrinkles, then confidently move into a full blown holiday with the woman.

Well I have to replace a temp plaster cast Friday morning with a glass one, then head out a little later than I had planned. Next time I will be more careful when in charge of small children :blush:
