I have Friday off but going to the first day of the first test so will be a late appearance on Friday night. Which is good because by then there will be lots of people to help put up my camp....... or lots of people to give advice on how I should do it

Me and ted will be there late Friday as well, we should be able to give each other a hand.

Yeah Lance, the plan ATM is to get up Friday, put up the tent, roll around on the ground in agony until my back stops aching (it always does), when it doesn't - a lie down in the tent for a while then hobble out to socialise.

We're looking at a Monday exit, trying to relax like last time.

Oh and Jarryd, we have a new hose for the old stove, a new single burner butane stove and tBox wants me to cook her bacon and eggs on the camp-fire again - best stove ever. Country bacon you can't beat it (its gotta have a few pig hairs on it).

You can smell the serenity.

PS Lance make sure Brendan brings that Bee Insect repellant - best product ever.

Have a great weekend.

Fantastic spot without the crowds and only an hour from North Brisbane.

We'd love to come but can't pick up the new boat till Sunday, although I could twist the wife's arm.

Regards

Geoff

Gee that's a bit over optimistic mate - "an hour from North Brisbane" !! How far north are you starting? Ha ha. It takes me about 3hrs from Samford... :P

That is a little optimistic. Just under 2 hours for a trip from inner northern suburbs.

It's still about an hour (or just over) from Glasshouse Mountains...

I will refrain from calling Ant "wet" and instead will say: "that's a pity mate, see you next time". See I am learning to be polite.

Tents up, dinner's down the throat, rain has set in, time to lie in the tent and dream about the fish Ant is missing out on tomorrow.

For those that didn't make it, I just so happened to have stumbled across some relevant reports by those two old legends - Lee and Terry.

Woke up this morning to a awesome birthday brekkie, jumped in a canoe at my back door of the place we're staying in imbil....... Paddled 100 metres then Walked 20 steps to a rock pool and pulled out my first ever bass on a lure :cheer: got two more in the next three casts. Pretty chuffed B) . There's bulk toga swimming round but so far they've ignored all my lures even when I land right on top of them.... Time for a beer.
