2012 Brisbane River Classic - VMR Saftey Information

Hi Team,

As im fishing by myself this weekend in an area i know NOTHING about, I looked up this info. For my two cents worth, the two quick calls to log on and off with the VMR will be worth its weight in gold if i get into trouble on the water. Log on and off, and keep the emergency number handy in your phone.

Good info, and a tip for boaties is to have your boats registration number printed or written somewhere easy to read from the radio mic.

The number of times you hear air silence as picture the master of the vessel leaning over the side to read the registration numbers out to VMR.

no im not! doesnt mean logging on is a bad idea.
