Hi Team,

As im fishing by myself this weekend in an area i know NOTHING about, I looked up this info. For my two cents worth, the two quick calls to log on and off with the VMR will be worth its weight in gold if i get into trouble on the water. Log on and off, and keep the emergency number handy in your phone.

From the VMR web page:

Our Operations Centre Radio Room is manned from 6am to 5pm every weekend and public holiday. During these hours we monitor the following radio frequencies
