Hey all,

I'm at HQ helping Angus out atm and things are starting off great. The weather is beautiful and people have already been through Davo's to visit and sign up for the comp.

Also, some great last minute news for the comp.

River 2 Sea have come onboard to support with small prize packs for anyone that has signed up for the comp. You just need to display a supplied sticker on your boat and if you are spotted by the Davo's staff on the water during the comp they'll drop off a prize pack of a cold drink and some other goodies.

Also - for anyone that is signed up you get 10% off everything at Davo's. Even if it's on special. Just show your entry card and the discount will be applied.

Word on the street is there may be another well known company coming onboard last minute. We'll keep you posted but you gotta be in it to win it.

cheers

PS the weather aint bad.

Gut here and signed in and had to buy new landing net as I left mine at home,

Launched and found sounder on the blink gps working but no depth or temp so will have a good look soon. The water is dirty but the fish are there.

Picked up a 50cm flatty on the troll/

Then anchored up and bait fished and got one legal bream and quite a few unders around 20 to 23

Also some nice whiting that are going home.

Peter and I had a good time this weekend. A few funny stories of the ones that should have been landed but thats fishing. Note : do not use a net with a big hole in it. We didnt do too bad considering the conditions and only fishing with lures with 4 species in the boat. Unfortunately I can not come to the presentation today but Peter will be there. Thansk to all those involved, Carter
