Thinking of upgrading the boat, yet to get approval off the opposition leader,

After this size(able to get to moreton safely on a decent day), style(family friendly, but I could use myself) and price (pending approval)

You reckon this is a reasonable buy?

Love my yammy 4 stroke. Probably not the newest technology but proven reliability. At 88 hrs on the motor that's little use.

Would recommend having a mech check out any boat that your serious about.

I was going to buy a Seafarer a while ago had a mechanic chech it out and he found soft spots in the transom had overheated at some stage and a gear box seal had line wrap around it.

I passed on the boat and saved potential time and money.

Good luck with the opposition leader but attacking from the safety aspect for the kids is a proven winner ;)

I own a horizon boat and will never buy 1 again, pore build quality in my opinion. when you can buy this boat for 25k brand new its probably over priced I would think 12.5k to 15k would be fair price. then you have a dealer selling new hull and trailer used motor for 19k makes me think this is over priced. http://www.boatpoint.com.au/boats-for-sale/boatdetails.aspx?R=15319564&Silo=Stock&Vertical=Boat&Ridx=5&eapi=2
