Hinze Dam 14-10-07 - Toga Show.

Hey everyone,

I was helping Steve Wilkes out at Hinze on Sunday and it was a good day. All the dads and sons who attended got plenty of bass, and more than average big big eel tails as well which gave them good fights.

The highlight of the day came while setting up the boats though. There was a large number of Toga herding a school of bait around the water tower. At first some people thought, \"surely its just 1 maybe two toga moving very fast\", but low and behold at once we saw 5 backs arch out of the water different locations. I have never seen or heard of toga acting like this but it was awesome to watch. Both Mick and Steve who fish the dam weekly for the last 7 years have also never seen this!

It dead set looked like surface action out on the bay and the Toga carved through the mass of bait. It also lasted a good 5 minutes. By the time we had the boats set up and showed the kids the ropes however, they had gone :(

Anyway i just wanted to share this as a very unique experience!

Angus

P.S. Mental note \"Ill be on the water early for the toga comp\" :)
