Northside Tackle Shop Closed

Went past carseldine tackle shop today and she’s all but empty, I thought it was tied in that that mob at Sandgate? Must admit it was pretty run down last time I was in there, used to be a great lil shop to stop in and have a chat.

Yep BCF has done that to a lot of tackle shops... I still love going to water tower bait and tackle. Top mob and good gear.

I’m happy to support the local places as they tend to have the higher end gear that main stream places like Bcf don’t cater for at all. It’s a very handy location there on the Northside it would be a shame to see it gone for good .

Thanks for the notice. Sad news. I would frequent that store on my way to the pine or redcliffe. Then grab a coffee and sandwiches next door. 

Hope another tackle shop ends up there.

My fave is still Tackle Warehouse at Capalaba. I know it is not intimate but they have great gear and you can convince them to give you service most days

Its a shame BCF is killing the goods small shops. Lets face it BCF has crap gear @ high prices. I never go to a BCF.

I have been going to Freddy’s at brendale a bit and also anaconda, they have far more soft plastics than bcf

Yep I agree. My problem is that they sponsor OzFish Unlimited so we have to use them as sponsors at the fishing comp and put their brand on all our gear.

Ive knocked BCF on the head since I noticed Outback Adventures on the other side of the road.Helpful attentive staff and cheaper too...

I used to use Tackle Warehouse at Coorparoo/Camp Hill for 20years but found on most occasions their staff were non-attentive. Now I go to BCF Greenslopes and on every occasion have found them to be friendly and very happy to help out. They also stock camping gear which suits me.
