I remember last season after each one of their very few wins i would be hyped and they would severely let me down with a dismal performance the week after. Will this be a more gritty and resilient broncos team? I like how Capewell brings some premiership and origin experience to the team.

try to imagine how the ever loyal Doggie and Warrior fan feels... season after season, after season 😶 at least the Bronco's fans have only had to suffer utter heart break for 2 seasons since 1988...

Round Two results…

Thursday, March 17

Storm 15  vs. 14 Rabbitohs
with the momentum in their sails, and coming from behind to be 14-14 at the 80 minute mark, the Bunnies thought their Easter had arrived… not so, the Storm crushed their eggs with an extra time GP drop kick.

Friday, March 18

Dragons 16  vs. 20 Panthers
90% of the positive stats were in the Dragons favour, attack - possession, metres gained etc. 95% of the negative stats were against the Dragons – 2 sin bins, errors, ruck infringements, missed tackles… a missed try conversion and giving away a converted penalty gave the Panthers the win.
The combined 20 minutes in the bin of the 2 Dragon players was very costly, Panthers 13 on 12, ran in 14-0 points while Su’A was in the bin

Roosters 26  vs. 12 Sea Eagles
The Roosters ****-a-doodle-doo-ed

Saturday, March 19

Titans 20  vs.18 Warriors

18 – 16 Warriors, half time at 60 minutes Titans get a converted try 20 – 18 Titans and held on for the win

Sharks 18  vs. 16 Eels

8 – 6 Sharks, half time.
Sharks ran in 4 tries with 1 conversion to the Eels 2 and 2 conversions for the 18 – 16 final score line

Cowboys 26  vs. 6 Raiders
Cowboys shot up the Raiders… I guess the moral is; don’t take a sword to a gun fight

Sunday, March 20

Knights 26  vs. 4 Tigers
The Knights turned up for this match and are 2/2 for seaon 2022.

The Tiggers set their fate virtually from the go and continued until it was well past woe.
Their 1st half was full of bumbling errors, dumb penalties, dropped ball, missed tackles…. their 2nd half at times had moments, but nothing to cause the Knights any real concern.

 Bulldogs 10  vs.16 Broncos
The Doggies were the dominating team for the better part of this match.
All the major stats were against the Broncos, possession, metres gained etc. The win came down to their defence and grabbing the play, when it came their way.
Broncos 2/2

Round Three  results…

Thursday, March 24

Dragons 12  vs.  26 Sharks

Going by that performance the only place the Dragon`s are heading in the near future is to CommBank Stadium next Sunday…

Friday, March 25

Tigers 12  vs.  16 Warriors
Fancy that, the Warriors beat the Tiggers…. again.
So, will the Tigers punt kick Madge or bargain sale the $850,000 p/s, half back

Rabbitohs 28  vs. 16 Roosters

Hippity, hoppity, hop… the Bunnies came out on top

Saturday, March 26

Panthers 38  v  20 Knights
at the 33 minute mark the Knight’s Barnett has a brain fart and gets sent off leaving his team to play the remaining 47 minutes with only 12 players.

Storm 24  vs. 28 Eels
24-24 at 80 minutes, the Eel’s run in a try in Golden Point to win.
With a host of key players missing the Storm will improve, on this…. given the players the Storm had missing, I’m not sure the same can be said of the Eels

Raiders 24  vs. 22Titans
WTF!     Half time Titans 22 - 4……

Sunday, March 27

Broncos 12  vs. 38 Cowboys
what can one say for the SE Qld fans, ….. GO the DOLPHINS 2023

Sea Eagles 13  vs. 12 Bulldogs

At 12 –12 nearing the 80 minute mark, someone needed to do a pot shot… Cherry-Evans did it for Manly

After last round there were 4 winless teams on the ladder, after this round there is 1 winless team on the ladder.

Apart from maybe Flegler, it's hard to see many coming from the Broncos for the Maroons this year. Very ordinary in a pretty ordinary game.

Yep, looking like another long season for us Broncos fans. They weren’t helped by some of the refereeing calls, but they were pretty awful. They had that same lazy, disinterested sort of attitude that we have seen over the last few seasons. Hard to pick a wooden spoon winner but on form, the Broncos, the Tigers and the Titans look like they are contenders.
