I haven’t noticed any in the tuskies I’ve filleted Benno. Seen them mainly in Jew and amberjacks. But likely an encysting trematode.

I always cook my fish so worms are not an issue for me.

Every single animal on earth lives with some form of parasite in it at some stage....humans included.

Our own digestive system relies on foreign bacteria to keep us alive.

Do you eat jem fish at all??   look at the processing of jem fish for the public market.

Don't think about it and enjoy a nice meal of fish.

So how did it cook up anyway Brian? I have only eaten Jew back in 2000 when I got some on a two month trip into Temple bay. Two pallets of beer were taken. I think I remember it being ok.

Pan fried in butter. It was OK. Not as good as a grassy, but I'd eat it again.
