My Viking Profish

Angus

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone.

A few people have asked to show some photo's of my profish.

This is pretty much just "As they come" at the moment.

I have not added hatches (as they are not ready yet) or a sounder or anything as of yet.

Looking front to back.

As you can see i have not washed it since its last excursion.

Central well.

I plan on keeping this as a storage compartment for fish and gear.

I was thinking of the live well system but

a: I dont use live bait.

b: I cant see myself keeping fish alive for comps. Anyway the well is to small for regulation in most comps.

Thus i will more likely have some ice, drinks and maybe at the end of the day depending on where i am fishing some dinner :) So far though i have been using it for my tackle bag. Its very convenient having everything comfortably in front of you.

The seat. The red toggle is for lowering the rudder. There is a blur one on the opposite side to do the opposite. Its handy being bale to raise it at a moment notice when crossing sand bars etc.

Quite frankly in calmer waters i never use it anyway. But at Amity at Straddy it was useful for keeping faced the right way. [img size=400]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/4-6ac37cbc39e216fef2c25b4c6c6298ac.jpg

Foot peddles for the rudder and forward well.

I would only use the forward well for stuff if you were spending the day on the water. For example extra drinks and food etc. I would also be handy if doing an over nighter.

My point is, you cant reach this while paddling. But nor do you need to as room is abundant!

Cheers guys hope you like.

That's a sweet ride Angus....can't wait for mine to turn up!

Have you ordered one with Alex Clawhammer?

Faulked: Just under $1700 will see you fitted out with all shown including seat and paddle. They will be in the shop when the official photo's etc have been released. But I can take pre orders.

I think he has crossed to the dark side Angus - he doesn't like to paddle!

He's right Angus...I've been talking to SithLord, "Darth Mal" @ Hobie,

Ya see, I suffer from a debilitating Disease called "Laziness".

Also, the use of a paddle inhibits my ability to hold drinks!

I also suffer from from chronic hallitosis that sometimes stops me from getting out of bed on a Monday...but that's another story!
