Slipped out to the dam yesterday 2pm and had 5 bass before 3pm and they were monsters,1st was about 25cm and the 5th was about 35cm.

The water had come up a little bit more, the dam is now 32.44%. Of course this makes it a little bit hard casting, but can be overcome. There are a few tracks leading down to the water at bullocky and the 1st car park sth of bullocky. Put in a long cast, then high stick the rod and keep your lure or s/bait just under the surface of the water on the retreive. The water is fairly shallow,but with this retreive you can wind your lure right over the top of the grass that has just been submerged and this is where a lot of the fish are. Mine were all caught on 5/8 s/bait.

Sounds good. I went there last week ...to mcgavin view, but really struggled to even get to the waters edge.but got a nice 41 cm bass, so was worth the effort.
