I,m buying a new baitcaster today from bcf @ logan.It,s a raider,starlo or pleuger.Any one have any of these.Which one would you recommend.

Go the Pflueger Bri.

The trions are fantastic value for money, very high quality blanks.

The Medalist rods are out of this world but a little more pricey.

I have a river raider 3 to 5kg of which I have no probs casting or trolling with, also a barra magnum plus 8 to 10kg raider,which has caused no probs

i have a couple of pflugers and love them i have an old pflueger reel unfortunately the chrome came of the handle early on in the piece but the rest of it is bullet proof so far and im horrible to my gear

Brian See if you can pick up a MO Tackle catalogue from your local newsagent. Costs $10 aprox. Nay nit be in stock at the moment as current one is Jan to March.

If you look at the mo tackle site they will have short descriptions and small resolution photos. While you're there, have a look, they have sic sticks on special right now in their clearouts section. $99 for a sic stick pro baitcaster rod. From memory, everyone said sic sticks were pretty good.

+1 for the sicstik pro. I have one attached to a pflueger echelon bc and have found it a great stick. I also have a sicstik bc and a sicstik pro spin rods and they have both served me very well so far.

Spoke to bcf logan and they didnt have a pflueger i wanted,spokke to bcf labrador and they have the pflueger bc rods on offer $49.00 they have 2-4 and 4-7 left. I picked up a 2-4 and a 6-10 for $98.00 sweet as.

They only have a few left.
