Bommie has kindly offered to show me some spots for kayaks so im pretty pumped.

there has been various fishing groups stocking the river for quite a few years now with the big four - bass, yellows, cod & toga so there is some big un's in there:)

a couple of good things to bring along,(prob. stating the obvious)

tackleback,

stealth, this area the fish are easily spooked, you can have a canoe tour group go past and you may as well put your rod away for an hour, luckily they mainly go on weekends,

rope or anchor,

Good advice about the rope otherwise I would not have brought one.

I dont actuaklly have a tackleback but i might see about making/getting one before tomorrow morning.
