anyone know what somersett is like at the moment?

is it fishable or is the surface covered in crap from the rain?

No idea mate. Maybe give booty a call - he's at wivenhoe, but may have seen or heard.

They are madly letting water out to make sure we dont get to 40% (so it can get soaked up by the dry river bed on the way down to Wivanhoe), so it is likely the crap will go a long way down, but if you launch near the wall you'll probably be ok, not that much water (and crap) has gone in.

Just got back from Somerset. Not a lot of debri, mainly small leaves. No fish either

somerset has been pretty up and down since the last release, they have been getting bass in the heavy timber country and around the creek inlets, the general surface around the dam isnt too bad, although in some areas Salvina and Water Hyacinth has started spreading. most of the sizes taken at the moment are small the bigger ones have been from early morning and late afternoon around Kirkleigh and the Spit
