Hey guys.

Took my mate to Slater (some of you may remember him from the Kayak Camp 2008) to North Pine this morning with the objective of getting his his first lure caught bass.

Mission accomplished.

4 fish for the day.

3 for me all in the high 30's.

And one for Slater at 48cm! Nice first bass.

Only got one picture of my first and the camera died. Forgot to charge it after yesterdays photo a thon sorry.

Anyway needless to say if I had a photo he would be smiling

I will post the photo when the camera is charged back up.

hey emp ill be up for a fish at NPD tomorrow in the morning sometime if your up for it? i finish work at 6am so ill go home get an hr or 2 sleep then be ready by about 9ish for a fish if your interested?

Guys this was McGavins View. Jump the fence the bloody trek through the jungle was a pain.

Its not fast fishing like NP can be. But for 1 1/2 hours it was ok.

I was in McGavin as well and saw an Xtrail with a AFO sticker. Upon reaching the fishing spot, I waved to the two guys who were already there and the other guy waved as well.

I asked, "are you from AFO"? Wolverine wannabe said, "yes, I'm Angus". I just couldn't believe it. LOL.

Oh well, Gus, I need a pair of glasses. Or maybe you need a barber visit. LOL.
