Another angle of my mates metre golden on a recent trip. They are such a pretty fish but definitely have a goofy look about them as well, especially front on!

The jig was an eBay special fluttered down through the school of trevs. Microjigs are one of those types of lures where most cheap ones work just as well as well as the expensive Jap ones. I've found the actions to be just as good. In fact I've probably caught most of my better fish on cheap eBay jigs!
