Poor guy, wouldn't be surprised if there would be a few Sharks around it on the tide. I will hopefully fish the MBC next year

fisheries attach a high vis float to the animal to keep an eye on it, in case they tow it out to sea, just makes it easier to spot, and if it has been anchored there, it's just to keep ppl from hitting it at night, to stop it floating all over the bay, it's out of the way sorta thing.

wonder what happened to it? never seen one in the bay before..dead or alive? they sure make magic viewing when they're playing in the front of moreton. had em blow hole right next to us about twenty feet away..it's a bit nervy when at anchor someone says..'where did that go'...'taxi'!

i think this is the 1 that beached itself middle of last week off bribie and they must have stored it there until they can arrange to tow it back out to sea
