there's still a lot about the ocean no one knows about... and great whites have been known to eat baited barrels attatched to chains... barrel and all!

and tigers are fat lazy sharks.. only small tigers are very aggresive... the bigger ones are much slower and live more on the bottom... exactly the same with bull sharks...

perhaps Charcharodon megalodon an extinct species but hey who knows... small ones could be mistaken for great whites and large ones....well how do you land a 18m shark?

Wondered if anyone'd bring this up during this thread...an interesting proposition. Y'know, the coelacanth was thought to have gone extinct millions of years ago until they turned up in the Indian Ocean - turns out the place is lousy with them, and they're identical to the specimens in the fossil record. Not sure I like the idea of C. Megalodon still being around as they were apparently big enough to eat half my boat at a single bite...on the other hand, how do you account for the lack of evidence to the contrary - y'know, a lack of whale carcasses washing up with enormous radius bites out of them, that sort of thing:huh:
