queensland Barra close to Brisbane

A bloke from work keeps telling me that there is a place 1hr's drive north of Brizzy where you can catch Barra ?

He keeps saying he will find out the name but never does

Does anyone know of such a place ???

just past blibli castle near maroochydoor theres a stocked fishing pond next to the waterski park ive never been there but it looks worthy though not cheap but nor is flying north.

AFO had a overnighter there a while back with a lot of blokes going up and getting stuck in. If you have a look through the old threads you'll probably find it.

But yeah Troy, gerty, Jeff F and myself spent a night there during the christmas Holidays. It was awesome. I have been there 4 times I think and my PB is 88cm. I got it in the middle of winter on a cold, wet miserable day! Perfect barra weather... NOT! On the overnighter how ever we all caught a good few barra tho most of the barra were caught on the second day during sunlight as it started heating up. I got 3 on lures aswell just before dawn. It's good and I highly reccomend going up!
