If you head to your local Produce store ( the ones the horsey people and farmers get their goods) you can get a 20 odd kilo bag of chook pelets for as little as 12-14 $

put some in a 20 lt bucket that has a lid

mix in some tuna oil the more the better let it soak it up but

keep the lid on :pinch: it will keep for ages like that

I use a big serving spoon to ladel it out in shallower water.

or for deeper or faster flowing water I made a berly bomb which is basicly a length of 100mm pvc pipe with an end cap glued on and a screw lid glued to the other end then drilled with lots of holes 5- 6 mm in dia and a bigger one to attach a rope add some lead to sink it faster and there you have it
