2012 Summer Classic - Noosa!

A quick thanks AFO and the sponsors. We had a good weekend despite the lack of fish, like most others have said the social aspect is always a plus even when the fishing is quiet as shenanigans are always on the cards.

We only boated a tiny cod, a flatty and quite a few solid bream including a stonker for Tina. Plenty of bait around and wished we could have explored the system a little more but will definitely have to do so when we stay up at the shack.

Good to meet some new faces as well as catch up with old ones.

Special thanks to Gus for putting on another great gig and to Carter for the prize.

Nice to meet some of you on Sunday - unfortunately due to other commitments I couldn't make it on Saturday night.

Fishing was hard! I fished for three days straight and managed one flathead that I dropped at the boat!

I'm looking forward to doing another event soon!

Gotta agree with everyone else it was a few goods days even though the fishing sucked majorly for me. Andrew and I covered some miles in the yaks for little reward with I think my biggest fish being a 27cm Bass Congrats to those who won as they showed the fish were there you just needed to find em.
