queensland Lake MacDonald Ecka Wednesday

Well Ray, Ferg and myself are going to take the silver bullet up to Lake MacDonald on Exhibition wednesday.

We have never been there before, cant find any reports on water levels, but we know it has 3 ramps.So we are going to use Ray's twin cab in case we need to do a dodgy bank launch if the ramps are high and dry.

Stocked with the usual suspects, Bass, Yellow Belly, Saratoga, Silver Perch and Cod.

Anyone else wants to tag along in their rig is more than welcome. (Electric only). SIP.

Anyone know the current conditions or got any tips speak up!

water level is no problem feral I was up there last week at the hobie dealer across the road from the lake, there is plenty of water in there. they have been getting heaps on plastics fished deep to schooling fish according to the hobie dealer

There have been some reports of fin rott, I was up there 2 months ago and got a few near the bubble trail and some of them had some sort of rott. Might have a fish up there as well. [if i am healthy]

There is a lot of little fish as well as the fat ones. ha

We always use the ramp southern side, you have to go a long way around to get to the one near the fish hatchery. Go over the railway bridge at Cooroy and follow the road for a few hundred meters, then there is a signpost on the right,to lake macdonald.this road takes you right to the ramp.[keep eyes open for ramp sign on right]
