queensland Google is your Friend for Bass

Been meaning to try a few new Bass spots in the yak and with the season slowly coming to an end i thought i'd get my act into gear of check out somewhere new. Loaded up the computer and got stuck into Google and Google maps and with a bit of research come up with a system to fish and a spot to launch. It wasn't a hot session by any means but a few fish were caught here and there on cranks, spinner baits and stick baits as the sun went down, average size was nothing to write home about but they were feisty fish and in good health and i'm pretty sure the population in the system is mostly wild fish (could be wrong though). With some willing fish and awesome scenery i'll be sure to give it another crack before the season ends.

Nice effort and great pics Mark. I've fished down there a few times, a little further down though. It's a great spot that can produce some surprisingly big fish.
